reprezent is more than just roni size. die/SUV/krust/onalee/dynamite + live bass guitar and drummer. they played the absolute best drum & bass ive ever heard in 2001 @ coachella festival in california. mid-blowing biznezz.

Truthfully its the other way round. One of, if not the first sped-up breakbeat tunes was We are I.E by Lenny DeIce back in 1991 using the (forever loyal) Amen loop which defines Jungle.
DnB appeared around 1994/95 with artists such as Remarc, Dj Hype, Dillinja, Cool Hand Flex, Ray Keith,etc still using the amen loop but making it more intricate. Drum n Bass really blew up after that with tunes like DjSS - Silver, Dj Hype - True Playerz, Aphrodite - We Enter, Bad Ass - Mickey Finn.
