If Bush sent all of our troops to Darfur tomorrow, the democrats would hold hearings next week on how Bush was invading the country and how civilians were being killed in the fighting. It may need to be done, but the only reason libs are so into it is because Bush isn't. If he was, then they'd find some other place to talk about.

Biden is a typical partisan moron. He wants U.S. forces in Darfur. But in '91 when Hussein murdered his own in the wake of the Gulf War, Biden wanted us to stay home when the U.N. dictated his position to him. Now, Biden wants U.S. forces in Darfur, but he doesn't want the obvious solution which is to arm the people of Dafur so that they can fight the Muslims for themselves. Why do the dems always want the US to go where we have no national interest, but to stay out of places we do?

Sending U.S. ground troops to support the U.N.-A.U. peacekeeping force and give logistical support to the rebel movement, provide them with funds, and arm the rebel movement. The better option is to support the rebel movement without actually sending in U.S. ground troops. The U.S. should provide the rebel movement with funds, logistical support, and weapons. That would allow the rebel movement to provide greater security to Darfurian civilians.
