Last year, he played a prominent role in the Sunni decision to walk out of the Cabinet in protest of al-Maliki's policies. Al-Jaberi is a senior member and former secretary general of Fadhila, a Shiite party that controls the Basra provincial government. The group, which holds 15 seats in parliament, withdrew last year from talks to join al-Maliki's cabinet after complaining of U.S. interference. That's the option. It's embarassing that we ended up with these two.
And you will gain even more enemies, then again, its a part of the plan and is buisness as usually ;)
But USA is in really dark times, and it looks like it will get alot worse soon!
The difference between two evil is that one of them cannot actually implement their plan but the other one could.
In other words, McCain can never go to war with Iran as much as he wish. But Obama CAN implement his universal health care plan which will destroy the country.
The two are literally the same as Ron Paul said.

Also, the US managed to drop a few big bombs at the end of WW2 , a period of great hardship economically , for obvious reasons.
Of course, the fall out internationally , the likes of China and Russia (and probably a great majority of the world) will not like it, is the main concern in terms of global stability. WW3 would be a very big and real possibility.
Rule of Thumb: Warmongering politicians can ALWAYS find ways to fund wars.
