Yes that is the bands point of view to be exact the video would say that because Jade and others died trying to stop Davey from jumping when he was dead already so they say suicide is selfish you may take you're life to end pain but you're not thinking of the pain of others.

well im not religous or anything but isnt suicide sposed to be a sin? so maybe they didnt come back becus they died tryin to save him and they went to "heaven" and daveys a ghost cus he commited suicide...
